On the other hand, sometimes you just need to have yourself a Wine and Whine session with a good friend to clear the air. Hope something wonderful happens to lift your spirits!Lark Howardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13363455770588651569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2140630815526406811.post-89087499090582251522011-12-08T09:13:40.048-06:002011-12-08T09:13:40.048-06:00Thanks for your insight, Marie. I wish I could walk away from boring pursuits but I tend to be rather stubborn and hate to give up. Perhaps I'll try your way!Lark Howardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13363455770588651569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2140630815526406811.post-78923916031626890182011-12-07T20:54:50.501-06:002011-12-07T20:54:50.501-06:00*sigh*

Only when I can do that and stay 'up and out' am I able to notice that others not only have similar difficulties, some have it worse. Gratitude is a pretty good kick in the pants! The universe never fails to show me the lesson, as long as I am aware, pay attention and keep my head up.
Thanks Lark!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2140630815526406811.post-67861919418493358222011-12-07T18:18:28.576-06:002011-12-07T18:18:28.576-06:00I was watching Oprah on the OZ show today and her ...I was watching Oprah on the OZ show today and her life philosophy inspires me. She takes chances in life and waits to evaluate the outcome. She decides when it is a success and only then makes the decision to stay with a project or make changes.
For myself, I have gratitude and stick with things if it is exciting for me. If it is not my cup of tea I move on. These decisions gave zest for living for me. We all need an occasional whine. Ole Martha does make you think, though, doesn't she. No matter where she is or her circumstances, she still does "Martha stuff".

By the way, you've been a fabulous inspiration with your posts and your award! When I'm discouraged, I'll ask that question--and stop my pity party before it gets started. Good one!Pat O'Dea Rosenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18221195882816387110noreply@blogger.com
